About: Kate Goldsworthy is Senior Research Fellow on the Textiles Environment Design (TED) project, within the Textile Futures Research Centre (TFRC). Her previous roles include Course Director of MA Textile Futures, Central Saint Martins, and over 10 years experience as a design consultant specialising in sustainability and material innovation. Her practice-led PhD project explored the application of new production technologies and lifecycle design as tools for change in the textile recycling industry. She has contributed to international conferences and publications and her design work has been exhibited at the Science Museum, the ICA and Crafts Council, (London), the Museum of Art, RISD (USA), and the Audax Textile Museum (Tilburg).
